Our mission is to support grassroots candidates in Indiana from marginalized, working-class, urban, and rural communities who lack local support so they can meet the moment. We will support candidates by launching matching fundraising campaigns and providing social media exposure to increase visibility among their voters, thereby strengthening local county, district, and Indiana Democratic Party efforts. And we will do all of this while having FUN!

Running for office is hard. And if you don’t already know how campaigns work, it can feel almost impossible.

Too many Hoosiers feel disconnected from the political process, while too many races lack strong competition and communities are left without the resources, strategy, and support needed to get involved. We believe participation grows when people have more opportunities to engage—through stronger candidates, better organizing, meaningful conversations, and the infrastructure needed to turn interest into action. That's why we're committed to building the foundation that helps communities participate, compete, and make their voices heard.

Where Do You Live In Indiana?

IN Power grew out of founder Blythe Potter's own experience running for office. Blythe didn't enter politics because she dreamed of becoming part of the political establishment—she got involved because she was frustrated: frustrated by what she saw happening to Hoosiers, frustrated by decisions that felt disconnected from people's everyday lives, and looking for somewhere productive to put that frustration. Running for office gave her that outlet.

IN Power is about opening that same door for more people. What began as a way to put campaign resources back to work has grown into a bigger question: What if we could help more Hoosiers turn frustration into action?
